DAY 2 OF STRATHEARN ART WALK APPROACHES and - sincerely, thank you - I have some holes to fill in my tent.
I’m bringing with me Crescent Falls, 20 x 24 inches. This was based on a pic sent to me by my Brother and Sister in Law, when they were roaming Alberta.

I love the colours in this and have had it hanging on my walls, but it maybe time to find its forever home.

A backyard I love, far from my hood. I have cousins in the Leslieville area of Toronto. Last time I visited I did a small 9x12 study of their yard for them, but I decided it was time to revisit it on a larger scale.

@dimensionsgallery on Queen St East is graciously showing some of my neighbourhood in their gallery!

I’ve updated my website to reflect this new representation - and I urge anyone in Toronto to go check out their gallery. They have wonderful artists, and I’m honoured to now be one of them!

I was massively angsting over this piece - I just couldn’t tie it together. But then across my feed came an Anne Savage piece I loved - her foreground was full of lush sunflowers. I knew I didn’t want to cover the sycamore, but thought she wouldn’t mind me being inspired by her flowers.
